Managed to capture some video from the weekend using one of these Camzilla camera mount kits. The start has a section up the Toowoomba range, then different grades of gravel into the park and the out of the park during a sandy section.

Dude, I noticed you bought a KLR650. I have recently bought one too and intend doing the Perth - Alice - Simpson - Newcastle trip in June. Did you get to go through the Simpson as 'suggested' in your blog? Would be very keen to hear how it all went and what type of issues you came up against.
One other thing, love your site/blog. Have been to Turkey a couple of times myself and love the place - even the smells!! Have seen a different side of the Gallipoli battlefields than most tourists, though.

Yup loving the KLR, what model year did you get? I'm still gearing up for something like the Simpson - need a GPS, some panniers and an offroad riding course as I'm only new to bikes. Have you done much prep for your trip?
